Reviews
The time for our old cat to go to sleep came, the workers who spoke on the phone were already very nice and understanding. Frau Geyentsch (I am not sure this is spelled properly, apologies) was very calm, understanding and most importantly empathetic. The procedure didn't take longer than it needed to and we were given time to pet our cat and take our time. Thank you.
Dr. Salah is a very good veterinarian. He was here in Brühl today and euthanized my cat; unfortunately, there was no other option. The vet was very calm and comforting. I would choose him again without hesitation. Thank you so much for everything; you gave my cat the best possible end of his life and eased his pain. And you helped us ensure that he no longer has to suffer. Thank you.
I felt compelled to leave a review today because I was quite worried by the many negative ones. Perhaps the region and the vet's name should always be included so other users can contextualize the review. Two years ago, I had a very positive experience with Ms. Genc (I believe she was a Serbian veterinarian), and today Mr. Tahin was my vet. Both times, they were clear, made the diagnosis, and performed the euthanasia on my cats with great empathy. They were calm and patient, allowing both cats to fall asleep peacefully in my lap. My Blacky, and today his brother Cito, didn't suffer, and they were spared the stressful transport and the long waiting times at one of the Cologne veterinary clinics. The appointment time given over the phone was honored. Thankfully, I have nothing negative to report so far. I hope all pet owners find a compassionate veterinarian for treatments, but especially when saying goodbye. I consider the price-performance ratio to be reasonable. I'm in a good position to judge this, as I have many animals and, unfortunately, frequent vet visits are necessary.
We unfortunately had to have our rabbit put down. Dr. Salah was incredibly kind. He was exactly the right person we needed in this situation. Very empathetic, considerate, and he took all the time we needed. Thank you so much, Salah!
Yesterday, I had a neighbor's outdoor cat euthanized by the emergency vet service. He'd been very ill for some time and kept crawling to my door with his last bit of strength. The vet (from Syria) was wonderful—empathetic, calm, and very friendly. I didn't have to wait long either; from the time I called until he arrived, it was less than an hour. Thank you so much for putting the cat at peace!
