You can call with questions day or night and always receive friendly information. We and our horse always felt very well cared for. Thank you for that.

This isn't our first time here and we're currently in week 5 of the clinic. And I feel pure gratitude for the entire team, including Ms. Kippel, Ms. Joerss, Ms. Plewe,... and all the lovely medical assistants! In addition to their expertise, their compassion and boundless care are paramount. My mare is always well cared for, looks great despite the clinic, and we feel very well looked after. We would like to sincerely thank the entire team at the Duisburg Equine Clinic. From the very first moment, we felt we were in excellent hands. The veterinarians and staff (in the stables and office) provided professional, competent, loving, and attentive care. The necessary colic surgery was communicated clearly and transparently. We were always kept fully informed and supported throughout the entire process—both professionally and emotionally. After nine days, our Duke was able to go home to his friend. For some time now, I've been a regular here with my two ponies, "unfortunately." Whether it's dental work or lameness, the entire clinic team always goes the extra mile and is incredibly professional. 👏🏻 My Shetland pony has also been an inpatient at the clinic several times. And even though he's just a small pony, he's treated just like a sport horse. The stalls, care, and feeding are also top-notch. I highly recommend the clinic. Thank you for your round-the-clock dedication to the horses. 🐴

Update November 2025: Unser jetzt 24-jähriger Wallach wurde als Notfall mit einer Kolik in die Klinik gebracht und dort von Frau Dr. Rasch und Team operiert. Insgesamt stand er 15 Tage da, u.a. im Intensiv-Bereich. Zwei Backenzähne wurden zusätzlich entfernt. Auch dieses Mal wurde dem Pferd schnell und kompetent geholfen, die Pflege war außerordentlich gut. Mitarbeiter und Ärzte sehr freundlich, die Kommunikation sehr gut. Die Heilung Zuhause lief problemlos, die Abstimmung mit den Haustierarzt klappte gut. Auch dieses Mal lief die Abrechnung mit der Versicherung schnell und reibungslos. Aufgrund unserer positiven Erfahrung mit der Pferdeklinik Duisburg vor 6 Jahren (Fesselringband-OP, Dr. Christoph Klaus) fiel bei der Diagnose EOTRH die Wahl wieder auf diese Klinik. Unserem 23-jährigen Wallach wurden hier in zwei OPs im Zeitraum von wenigen Wochen 2 Backen- und 12 Schneidezähne entfernt (Frau Pegel, Team GB). Von der Erstuntersuchung bis zur abschließenden Entlassung ist alles professionell abgelaufen, alle Mitarbeiter waren immer sehr freundlich. We were always well-informed, any questions were answered, and most importantly, our horse received excellent treatment and care. The recovery was very quick and problem-free. Billing was handled smoothly via assignment of benefits through our surgical insurance. Highly recommended. Photo taken 4.5 weeks after surgery.
