Dr. Schieren is available around the clock. He's always reachable in emergencies and arrives immediately. He has helped many horses at our boarding stable and always takes the time to address the owners' questions and concerns. Dr. Schieren provided excellent treatment for my Connemara mare. Thanks to his availability (Sunday evening), professional equipment, and his empathy and expertise, he was able to surgically treat a rather unusual 8 cm deep puncture wound (caused by the tip of a lunge whip) on an outpatient basis. The injury was near a joint and painful. The pony received excellent acute and follow-up care, allowing the wound to heal quickly without further infection. Thank you so much!
