The first encounter was immediately unpleasant and superficial. As the examination of our cat progressed, the vet became increasingly unfriendly, very curt, and arrogant. She didn't even want to talk to us, as if we were animals ourselves or the plague. She slammed the examination room door in our faces while we were talking to her about our cat, and then later let the secretary speak to us briefly. Overall, she was very dismissive and unfriendly, and in the end, she couldn't even make a diagnosis. By far the worst vet we've experienced so far. Once and never again.
Today was my first time at the vet's office, but my puppy had already received quick and hassle-free emergency care over the phone. They were incredibly friendly, loving towards my puppy, and competent; I left feeling very reassured. Thank you so much, that's what I call "love for dogs"!
I was there with a friend because her rabbit had contracted RHD2. Ms. Thomsen quickly noticed the signs and advised having the rabbit euthanized. My friend held her beloved rabbit to her chest and he received his injections. It was comforting for her to be able to say goodbye to him slowly.
She saved my Bonny's life. Bonny needed surgery, and we were paying in installments. I'll never forget her words: "Let's help the dog first, then we'll talk about the financial side." Ms. Thomsen embodies what a veterinarian should be: helping animals. I've felt safe and well looked after with her for years, and no matter when or what time of day, she always has a listening ear when it comes to my dogs.
