Tierärztliche Gemeinschaftspraxis Dres. Pape und Eckmann

A complete disaster! I went without an appointment and only had to wait a short while, which I appreciated. But the treatment was an absolute catastrophe. I went because my cat was in severe pain, couldn't walk on that paw, and I was pretty sure she had glass shards in it. They only trimmed her claws and said everything was fine. They didn't check her paws at all. Nothing was done except trim her claws. I came home. My cat was in terrible shape. During the night, she developed a fever and was trembling. She's not eating anything; she's just vomiting. And I just can't understand how the vet could say everything was okay. It was my first time there, and I'll never go back!

Today we tried several times to reach the practice regarding an urgent problem with our cat. Three calls were simply disconnected; only on the fourth attempt did we receive any information. We were merely told that they were fully booked today and tomorrow and that we should try an animal hospital. Our cat has a noticeably swollen lump right next to her eye, which is very frightening for us. In such a situation, we would have expected at least some advice, understanding, or support. Instead, we felt dismissed and not taken seriously. Especially in urgent cases, I expect more responsibility and empathy from a veterinary practice. Unfortunately, this was very disappointing.
