I found a tick on my dog! She received a tick-repellent tablet four months ago, so I went to the nearest vet. My dog ​​was seen immediately without an appointment. I was surprised that she was seen so quickly at this time of year.

I've been taking my cats and dogs to this practice for many years and have always been very satisfied. The staff and veterinarians are very friendly. I would recommend this veterinary practice to anyone.

That was the worst experience of my life at a veterinary practice. You make an appointment, you arrive, and there's no one at reception. Even after 15 minutes, nothing. You can't check in because no one is there. You wait for almost an hour, watching others get seen before you, and get yelled at for not checking in (the others hadn't checked in either, which wasn't possible; I witnessed it all). The receptionist lets an animal wait and suffer, and she couldn't care less. The vets at this practice are very good and kind, but you can't get past the receptionist, who is never at her desk except occasionally to collect money, and then she always runs off immediately. I was kicked out of the practice "because she won't listen to reason" (I simply told her it was my turn—that if she kept leaving, she'd just have to see who had arrived in the meantime). Since it was so late by then and my poor pet still hadn't been seen, I had to go to the emergency vet clinic in Nuremberg. The poor little old dog was already suffering so much, waiting patiently for ages at that vet's office, and then trembling when she was finally asked to leave because of the argument. Then it was a 45-minute drive to Nuremberg and more waiting. I will be reporting this officially. Veterinary practices have a duty to treat suffering animals, especially when you have an appointment. If the receptionist doesn't like the pet owner, so be it – she has to make sure the sick animals get treated. The receptionist simply commented that many animals were sick and that I wasn't entitled to treatment, despite having an appointment. Tough luck. It's a shame; I used to be a happy customer here, but you can't run a practice with this employee.

I took one of my chickens to the vet because my whole flock was coughing. I specifically asked beforehand if they even treated chickens—which they confirmed. At the vet's office, they took a swab—so far, so good. Afterward, they gave me a "herbal" remedy to "boost the immune system" until the swab results came back. At home, I discovered it wasn't herbal at all, but homeopathic! I think homeopathy is nonsense, to each their own, but for a CHICKEN? I didn't even know what I was paying for! When the test came back, it was clear: it was bacteria, and an antibiotic was needed. I picked it up, then discovered at home that it wasn't approved for laying hens; I'd have to throw away the eggs for weeks! I called. They said they'd look into it. I called back: the representative(!) of the unapproved medication gave me the all-clear; I "only" had to discard the eggs for 14 days. With a bad feeling, I gave the remedy for 5 days. Result: ZERO improvement. After that, I threw away almost 50 eggs over 14 days, and my chickens are still coughing. Now another hen-keeper tells me: the medication is known to be ineffective; you need a different one that works immediately, and you DON'T have to throw away any eggs! The result: over a hundred euros and 50 eggs in the trash because the vet simply doesn't know what she's doing, but instead of just saying so, she prescribes some nonsense. Two stars because the practice is nice and they tried their best. But otherwise, a complete disaster!
