Best Veterinarian ever! The doctor loves animals and is super friendly! We are from New York and visited this veterinary clinic as we were in the area. Everyone treated our doggy with incredible care and compassion! They will do everything what you need for your pet! Amazing!!! 6 stars out of 5 :)

the mishandling of my senior dog was shocking: in asking to cut his nails, I advised Dr Kohler to use the muzzle. she ignored my request, proceeded to physically restrain him, to which I protested and was again ignored. Never, in more than 10 years, I had seen my dog yell in such a way. I exited the practice because my requests to stop were ignored and I couldn't handle seeing mt dog like that. he is 14,5 years old, suffers from arthrosis, and the reason we went there was for him to be medicated for his condition (pain medication), since our vet was on vacation. after the fact, she insisted on defending her "method/technique": she said she's doing this for 20 years, that she gets send many "uncontrollable dogs" to handle and that her "method" works; she dare say it was faster, and more efficient, because "a muzzle would take 3 min, but restraining takes 30 seconds", to which I responded "efficiency should not be priority, but the well being of the animal/patient". Not only was my dog in a panic, he was in visible pain - though she denied, saying he was only yelling from being restrained, not from pain. she even dared saying that with a muzzle, he wouldn't be able to yell, therefore her "method" was better because it allowed him to complain. it's been 3 days now, and he has not only showed signs of pain which he wasn't showing before this vet visit - restlessness, licking his paws, reactivity to being touched, moaning and groaning, today he yelled very loudly after being softly petted at his side. I will make a point to say, she approached me to talk and defend her point of view, trying to reassure me. but, I DO NOT RECOMMEND a vet that prioritizes efficiency over a patient's well being, that ignored guardian's requests to stop, ignored patient's signs of distress, and completely disregards the general state of patient before making a decision on how to handle such patient. the VERY LEAST she could have done was explaining her "method" beforehand and leaving the choice to the guardian, instead of using this brutal, violent "method" as her go-to solution.

I can wholeheartedly recommend the practice, Dr. Kohler as a super competent and empathetic veterinarian, and the entire practice team! I've been taking all my cats there for about 15 years. I used to be an active breeder as well. She has saved the lives of many cats, or at least extended them. Even when death came, my furry friends were able to pass away peacefully and without pain, and I, as a grieving owner, received great empathy. Thank you so much for EVERYTHING 🥰
