Tierarztpraxis Dr. Kai-Uwe Schuricht

We've been going to Dr. Schurig's practice for over 20 years, and I must say: He's one of the few vets who goes to great lengths to ensure the health and well-being of the animals. His staff are also helpful and friendly. We have dogs and cats, mainly from animal shelters, and he does everything he can to help them. If he doesn't know something, he makes every effort to find out about suitable treatments, which is why I'm so grateful to his practice.

We went to the emergency room on a Sunday. They brought in my dog, who was limping and apparently in severe pain. Unfortunately, no diagnosis could be made, and after a brief examination, we were given painkillers. Unfortunately, the lack of a diagnosis led us to go to another vet, where we received a diagnosis and surgery.

A very nice vet, takes his time, doesn't rush you into unnecessary treatments, and handles the animals gently. I've been coming to this practice with my two female cats for four years, even though it's not exactly around the corner from my commute.

Dr. Schuricht is one of the very few veterinarians with a healthy attitude towards dogs/animals in general, regarding health, illness, and handling. I appreciate his clear and honest approach and how he interacts with animals that come in for treatment. His focus is on finding the best path forward for the animal. I hope he continues to practice for many years to come.
