It's a nice place with a good doctor.
Finally, a friendly vet where my dog isn't afraid to go into the examination room. She takes her time, giving her a chance to relax. My dog has also never been so easily distracted while receiving an injection. Simply fantastic!
I take my two dogs and a cat to Dr. Obitz. She is incredibly patient and thorough, and very loving with the animals. I appreciate being allowed to hold my animals during treatment and notice that they are much more relaxed when there aren't several unfamiliar hands working on them. Professionally, she has given my old cat a great deal of quality of life back, whereas another vet just shrugged and said, "That's just how it is." The four of us are very happy and glad we found her practice.
Unfortunately, we only decided too late to switch veterinary practices and accept a longer journey. Our cat had a tumor, and Dr. Obitz recognized it immediately and sensitively explained what it meant and what options were available. She supported us in giving our cat a few more comfortable days with pain medication. She encouraged us but didn't pressure us to find the right time for the necessary decision to euthanize him. She readily gave up her well-deserved evening off for this – we felt understood and were able to say a heartfelt and dignified goodbye to our cat. Thank you so much.
We went there on December 17th, 2025, as an emergency case. Our Leo was really very ill, and unfortunately, our usual vet was closed. Thanks to the vet, Leo was feeling better the next day. He was still a bit weak on his legs, but he was eating again by the afternoon. Many thanks again, and I can highly recommend this vet to everyone.
