They've been coming to this practice for over 6 years now. They were immediately willing to continue treating my epileptic dog, and quite successfully. Little Pico is now a proud 14.5 years old, thanks to the great teamwork between vet and owner – that's so important! He also remained very calm with our stressed-out dog. :-) He even took extra time, despite it being the end of his shift, when we had to have our Josy put down at almost 17 years old. And he also treated our Lucy, almost 16 years old, on Christmas Day. That's not always a given. A fantastic team, highly recommended!
Dr. Koch was recommended to me by a colleague, as I had initially sought help for our cat in Neermoor, but the receptionists there were of no assistance whatsoever. My colleague made the connection, and I was able to bring our feline friend in immediately. Even though they couldn't save him, Dr. Koch and his team did everything they could to make him feel better. We felt well cared for and understood, and we are grateful for their help and, above all, their empathy. Sadly, our cat had to be put down, but everything was done with dignity for both owner and animal. We highly recommend this team and this practice.
I went there today to have my rabbit examined because it's underweight and it's quite obvious. Then they accused me of not feeding it and not giving it enough water, since it drank so much while we were there for an hour and a half and the rabbit was completely stressed out. Of course, it's understandable that a rabbit would be thirsty. I was told I should give my rabbit away because it would have a better life. I wouldn't give any stars, but that's not possible, so one star it is.
When my senior dog Püppy became ill, I contacted this practice because the previous one wasn't competent. We were immediately welcomed with love, understanding, and respect. I was informed about everything, always with great competence, sensitivity, and empathy. Today, unfortunately, the difficult step of letting my dog Püppy go had to be taken. They tried everything and offered help, but sadly, nothing could be done. Everything was handled with great respect, and they took my grief for my beloved pet very seriously. They gave me as much time as I needed to say goodbye, something I unfortunately didn't experience with my first dog, Aaron, at another practice. I can't express how grateful I am for the treatment and support I received from this wonderful team today. I couldn't have wished for more humanity and compassion than what I received from this amazing team at this time. Thank you to the entire team on my behalf and on behalf of my dog Püppy, who has crossed the Rainbow Bridge. I will continue to bring my other dog to this wonderful practice.
A really great veterinary practice. Even though they're not allowed to treat chickens... they were very helpful with their assessment of what might be wrong with my hen. And they were even able to give me the appropriate medication. Now it's just a matter of waiting and hoping that my hen gets better soon 😊
