It used to be better. Often, consultations with the vet were far too short, as you're often just handed your pet to the receptionist and the vet is barely visible. Depending on her mood, the doctor sometimes listens more or less to what you have to say. And in a more serious matter, she once claimed that she was the vet and would make the decision. And to that I can only say: No! Because what happens to my pet is still my decision. After all, you can always go to another vet. Well, and that's what I've been doing ever since.
I am very disappointed with this veterinary practice. My cat had a uterine infection that went undiagnosed, even though I described the symptoms precisely. A thorough examination was not performed. Everything was handled very quickly and superficially. The next day, my cat had to undergo emergency surgery to prevent blood poisoning. This could have been avoided if the correct diagnosis had been made. The costs were very high, especially considering the inadequate service. A clear cost estimate was not provided beforehand. I hope this review leads to better examinations and diagnoses in the future.
Unfortunately, my 12-week-old puppy was bitten by the practice dog after his vaccination while still in the treatment room. The necessary antibiotic prophylaxis, wound ointment, and two cans of food were provided free of charge. I later wrote her another email to say goodbye and briefly report on the puppy's condition. I haven't received a reply yet, which is somewhat disconcerting. If my dog ââhad bitten someone else, I would certainly have been much more involved. I certainly share responsibility, as I am ultimately responsible for my puppy. On the other hand, I'm shocked that a dog in a practice owned by a veterinarian with a reputation for being very knowledgeable about dogs doesn't just bite or nip, but actually injures patients. My dog ââbarely slept for two days, afraid of everything that was previously normal. After a lot of effort on our part and under the guidance of our dedicated dog trainer, things are slowly getting better, but we still have a lot to do. The veterinary assistants are really nice, helpful, and dedicated. I would have actually liked to stay there until this incident.
I didn't have a patient there, so I can't comment on the vet. But after speaking with the staff on the phone, I'm hesitant to use that practice. I couldn't make my 8:30 appointment and was spoken to extremely harshly. Furthermore, the practice refused to examine my cat beforehand to determine if she was suitable for sedation. They just told me to show up... That can be sorted out, but that harsh treatment! They need to be human and understand that mistakes can happen, and simply schedule a new appointment.
