Reviews
English-speaking vet, very capable, caring and nice staff! Highly recommend!
One of the worst vets. Despite having an appointment, I had to wait an hour, and nothing was done for my dog. The woman on the phone told me something, but that treatment wasn't even offered there. And then there was the 40-minute drive for nothing. I'm very disappointed, and the follow-up appointment wasn't cheap either. Unfortunately, I don't know if the woman on the phone was new and didn't know what treatments they offered, or if she was just having a bad day. We definitely won't be going back.
I called the veterinary clinic this morning and said my dog had fleas and I needed a tablet for them. I specified exactly which medication I wanted. The woman on the phone told me they had it, but they couldn't dispense any tablets without an appointment. I would have to bring my dog in for an examination, and only then would I receive the medication. Since it was very important to me to get the tablet today, I made an appointment for 12:45 PM. When I arrived, I was only with the vet for maybe two or three minutes. She briefly listened to my dog's heart with a stethoscope and asked me a few questions. That was all. When I was about to receive the tablet, I saw that instead of the NexGard tablet I had requested, they were trying to give me a different medication. I told them I didn't want that. I had specifically called this morning and explained exactly which medication I needed, and I went there specifically for that reason. Then I was told that they didn't have NexGard in stock and had to order it, so it wouldn't arrive until next week. That really upset me. Furthermore, they charged me €93.66 for those two to three minutes, during which they only briefly listened to my heart and asked a few questions. I find that truly disappointing. I will definitely not be going back to that practice and wanted to share my experience with others. April 20, 2026 😔
My French Bulldog, Odin, had surgery on his soft palate and nostrils by Dr. Brüggemann almost two weeks ago... I am so grateful to Dr. Brüggemann and her truly kind and competent team....☺️ Before the surgery, I researched several clinics and then chose Dr. Brüggemann's practice... We were very well informed during the pre-operative examination, and the surgery went so well... Odin was already breathing much better after the surgery, especially at night!!! Today we went back to have the stitches removed... I am so grateful to the practice for giving Odin so much more quality of life...!!!!🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I can highly recommend this practice.
We took our pug to Dr. Brüggemann in May 2025 for a soft palate surgery. We researched options and clinics beforehand and were right to choose Dr. Brüggemann. Even during the initial examination, no question was too much trouble; she answered them patiently and kindly. (And we were probably a bit of a handful 😉, as we were naturally worried about our 8-year-old pug.) What we particularly appreciated was that we could stay with her until she fell asleep and wait during the surgery, allowing us to hold our dog in our arms immediately afterward (which, of course, calmed her down more quickly, which was good for her freshly operated throat). After a few hours of monitoring her breathing, we were able to take her home. Only what was truly necessary was performed (widening the soft palate and nostrils); her tonsils were left in place, as it wasn't required. So, nothing extra was done just to make more money. All the staff were very kind and understanding. We are so grateful and still delighted that our Jojo can now walk again without her loud wheezing. THANK YOU to Dr. Brüggemann and the entire team!
