We needed the worm treatment for the Pet Passport for our two dogs before returning to the UK after the WRC rally. They had an appointment with two days notice. They gave them the pill required without having to pay for a check up (which is not a requirement ). Very good price €29,91 for two dogs (3 tablets ).

I have nothing but good things to say about this practice. Everyone who works there—the vets, receptionists, and staff—is always incredibly understanding and friendly. I really enjoy taking my animals there when they need help, and I always feel safe with my babies. Appointments are easy to get, and this wonderful practice collaborates with the animal welfare organization Pfote drauf, which allows people like me with limited incomes to still get the best for their animals! I highly recommend going there if you're looking for a great veterinary practice! ♥️

We've been going to this veterinary practice for 11 years. In September, our cat was chased by a dog and was badly injured; she needed stitches under anesthesia. The vet turned us away, saying they had no availability for the next few days and that we should try other vets. Deeply disappointed and feeling abandoned, we thankfully got an immediate appointment at a veterinary practice in Hermeskeil. Even in previous years, I'd noticed a decline in the quality of care at the Zur römischen Villa veterinary practice. It's a real shame!

We've been going to this practice for several years and were initially very satisfied. Unfortunately, the quality has declined over time. After our dog almost completely tore out his side claw last night and needed immediate treatment, we were told today (Friday) that the earliest appointment available is Monday. Alternatively, we could try other veterinary practices. Oh, and on the phone, I was first put through to a receptionist. Sorry, dear practice team, but that's unacceptable. Luckily, we were able to get an appointment at another practice later that same day and received very competent and friendly service. What a shame…

I would actually like to give this practice more stars, but our last visit was a huge disappointment and a shock. For the past few years, we've always been very satisfied with this veterinary practice. The veterinary assistants and the receptionists are exceptionally friendly, compassionate, and dedicated. Unfortunately, our last visit was a very disappointing experience with Ms. Wissing, even though she wasn't actually our cat's regular veterinarian. We found her to be very unempathetic and lacking in sensitivity. Especially when it comes to a beloved pet that has been with you for many years and suddenly becomes seriously ill, you, as a family member, want compassion, understanding, and respectful treatment. Sadly, we never felt comfortable with her. What was particularly shocking for us was that Ms. Wissing entered the examination room already holding the euthanasia syringe, even though euthanasia hadn't been discussed at all beforehand. We found this approach extremely insensitive and preemptive. After we finally had to make the difficult decision to let our cat cross the Rainbow Bridge, we were asked shortly afterward what should happen to her and which organization we would like to donate her to. For us, this question came far too soon and at a completely inappropriate moment. Immediately after saying goodbye to a beloved family member, we would have appreciated more time, compassion, and sensitivity. We understand that veterinarians encounter such situations frequently. Precisely for this reason, however, we expect them to treat every family with empathy and respect. Behind every animal are people who love it and are going through a painful loss. Euthanasia should never become routine, even for a veterinarian! In this very difficult situation for us, we would have wished for a significantly more professional and empathetic approach.
