Never been there myself, but I can certainly imagine that animal welfare comes before money. That's really difficult these days.
I took my budgie there today. The vet was super nice and very gentle with our lady. We got an appointment very quickly. I called and two hours later we were able to come in. Highly recommended. She'll be our vet again.
