Our cat Lilly is now 14 years and 8 months old. She's been receiving treatment for her ears since she was a kitten, and unfortunately, in August 2024, she was diagnosed with chronic asthma, which means many vet visits for both Lilly and us. The practice team is incredibly kind; you can contact them anytime, so treatment is always possible for Lilly, even without an appointment. The vet explains everything clearly, and they are very accommodating with various treatments. We want to thank them for the support we need for Lilly and for ensuring we always receive the necessary medication for her. My son, daughter-in-law, and 14-year-old granddaughter visited the veterinary practice in Schöningen on the afternoon of December 29th. They brought in a 9-week-old Maltipoo puppy for its first examination. This incompetent veterinarian told them the puppy had hydrocephalus and a crooked spine. This seemingly clueless veterinarian then explained that an MRI or CT scan was necessary, and the entire examination would cost €5,000. This "veterinarian" broke everyone's hearts when she added that the little one had hardly any chance of survival. This veterinarian is completely out of her mind; she should never be allowed to work with live animals. Even the slaughterhouse is no place for her. She charged over €100. And now for the kicker: My son went to another veterinary practice, and the puppy is perfectly healthy. The woman who calls herself Dr. [Name] is a disgrace to veterinarians. She would be better off cleaning somewhere where she can't cause any harm. She was probably just looking for someone to pay for her next vacation. I would be very happy if she sued me so that her incompetence becomes transparent to everyone. I hope someone hurts her as much as she hurt my children and especially my granddaughter.

I cannot confirm the experiences described. I have been taking my animals to this practice for quite some time and have always been very satisfied. The team takes their time, answers questions clearly, and always treats my animals kindly and competently. Of course, experiences can vary, but in my case, problems were always thoroughly investigated, and appropriate treatments were recommended. I have also always received detailed explanations regarding medications and their use. For me, this veterinary practice remains a trustworthy resource that I am happy to recommend.

This was our second visit, and we were generally satisfied with the treatment our Border Collie received. Unfortunately, the prices for services were very high, as is the case with almost all veterinarians; this wasn't entirely expected. But she's feeling better again, and that's the most important thing!

Schöningen location: no competence for complex problems, charges for consultation and treatment, and doesn't even thoroughly examine the problem areas. The same applies to prescription medications and grooming products; no information is provided on their use. I would give zero stars, but that's not possible, so one. I paid a lot of money for over a year while my dog ​​suffered, and instead of getting better, his condition worsened. Another practice thoroughly examined my dog, and after 24 hours of therapy, there was a significant improvement. After 10 days, my old friend was back!
