I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Kirsch and his entire team – especially Isabell! My dog is always in the best hands there. You immediately sense their high level of expertise as well as their great care and empathy for the animals. They managed to stabilize my dog from a critical situation and bring him back to full health – for that I am incredibly grateful. Throughout the entire treatment, I felt well cared for and in excellent hands. I would especially like to commend Isabell: She is incredibly friendly, helpful, and dedicated; her support meant a great deal to me during this difficult time. Anyone looking for a veterinarian who truly prioritizes the animal's well-being will find exactly what they need with Dr. Kirsch and his team.

First off: The team is great, really… BUT I had no idea I'd ended up at the "Pforzheim Veterinary Pharmacy." Ms. Heel is wonderful; she handles the animals with remarkable care, no complaints there. However, what I still can't wrap my head around is that I had to pay a whopping €225 (!!!!) for nail trimming (please let that sink in and don't faint at the price I just mentioned!) for three dogs (three visits to the clinic). Don't get me wrong, I'm happy to pay for my dogs if it's reasonable. When I asked what exactly was so expensive, the only answer I got (and this disappointed me a bit!) was, "I have no control over that; it's the official veterinary fee schedule!" ``` 1st dog = approx. €45 2nd dog = approx. €80 3rd dog = approx. €100 (because she had to put on a bandage since the claw was bleeding…) I'm sorry to say, but for me, this practice is only an "emergency" option when my regular vet isn't available or on call… It's a shame, really, because I really liked Ms. Heel; she has a great sense of humor and is competent. Addendum to my reply: Ms. Heel, just yesterday you called me (!!!) regarding this review. You admitted that you "thoroughly" examine new patients, and even though you knew I was only there for a nail trim, you simply started examining them without my request. I would have appreciated a bit more transparency regarding the costs. Before the examination, I understand that dogs are looked at, but this difference is exorbitant. Truly, I don't want to argue; that's the last thing I want to do. But please don't make me out to be someone who wanted all this. Regarding the matter, I asked why the bill listed two (!) examinations. Why there was a €60 (!) difference between dog 1 and dog 3. Even my partner was shocked. The fact that they didn't charge for the bandage and I still left the practice with almost €100 less could be seen as a positive or a negative. Furthermore, you wrote the reply and only called me afterward…?! Perhaps it would be helpful for pet owners if they were informed about potential costs BEFORE the examination, so they don't get a nasty surprise when they have to pay. PS: On the day I was there with Schnitzel and paid, a woman who had to pay next to me had a similar experience. She was close to tears because, like me, she apparently hadn't expected this price increase. ... I'm fine with it now, I'm drawing my own conclusions, and I'll only contact them again in emergencies. Best regards, A. Latifi
