My cat's condition deteriorated rapidly over two days. My regular vet was unavailable twice, and I was referred to Dr. Uwe Wördemann. Unfortunately, the experience there was extremely disappointing. Dr. Wördemann treated my cat roughly, pressing his finger deep into her abdomen—even though she was barely strong and unable to move. He repeatedly pulled at her fur and lifted her skin, which clearly distressed her. My cat reacted with distressed meows. He immediately said, "This cat is dying; we have to euthanize her," and pressured me to make an immediate decision. He emphasized that I wasn't a patient/client and that he didn't have time for me—even though the waiting room was empty. I then went to the veterinary clinic in Posthausen—where, in hindsight, I should have gone from the start. There, I was treated with great compassion and empathy. Even though euthanasia was unfortunately necessary, I was able to say goodbye to my beloved cat in peace, with whom I had shared 14 years of my life. Had I known that these would be her last hours, I would have spared her the distressing experience with Dr. Uwe Wördemann. In my opinion, the way he treated her there demonstrated a lack of humanity and little love for animals that were "not his patients."

Best vet I've ever been to! My cat suddenly became very ill, with changes in her personality and behavior. I was truly afraid of the worst. I received excellent advice over the phone and was able to get an appointment for the very next day. Dr. Wördemann conducted a very thorough examination. Fortunately, no cause could be found. Instead of simply dismissing me, he had an in-depth discussion about possible causes in my environment. And guess what? In the end, it turned out to be the new cat fountain! 😅 Once home, and with the new fountain in place, my cat spontaneously recovered. I would never have thought of that, and I certainly would have left my old vet several hundred euros poorer… I find it truly commendable that the animal's overall health is considered here, rather than profit being the primary focus. - Excellent work by the entire team.
