Reviews
Exceptional place. First, very helpful service team at the reception. Then, fr. Dr. Dominique Peter took such good care of our very old and quite ill cat. She has amazing communication skills, incredible competence and patience. It is really rare to feel that level of care, understanding and competence all in one clinic. 🙏
I used to have good experiences here with their vets but based on my recent experiences, I cannot recommend this clinic. In 2024, I brought in my 14-year-old cat for a routine rabies shot. Even though I explicitly explained that he is extremely nervous, Ms. Sonnenschein spent 10 minutes giving me a lecture on vaccines and the need for sedation for my cat while he was visibly suffering out of stress and terrified in front of her. Other vets I’ve visited always did the vaccinations quickly in order not to further stress my cat but my cat was handled so poorly for 10 minutes long. Instead of focusing on my cat, a lecture to me was prioritized apparently. This was the most traumatic event at a clinic for both my cat and me. Nevertheless, I let this aside as it was an individual event with a specific vet. Recently, I went there again for picking up deworming medication and the front desk employee tried to sell me sedation medication Gabapentin for home use before I bring him again for examination without proactively mentioning any risks. I find it incredibly neglectful and irresponsible to suggest a serious medication as if it is a simple, harmless thing. I’m very well aware that Gabapentin affects the nervous system and kidneys and no clinic should be handing this out just like that, especially to a senior cat without discussing the specific dosage and the potential medical implications. All pet parents should be very careful! On top of this, their attitude is patronizing— this ‘we know best' approach that ignores the owner's 14 years of experience, knowledge and preferences. If you want a vet who actually listens and shows compassion for the animal and for the pet parent rather than giving poorly-timed lectures, avoid this clinic.
I have taken my dog and cats here multiple times and am always happy with the treatment. Nice staff, able to communicate in English whenever my German is not sufficient enough and easy to make an appointment
Always have a great experience visiting the practice over the years. Appointments are easy to schedule and they have good availability, even short notice. The staff are very nice and clearly love and care for animals, they also accommodate for my English. Everything is well explained and all questions are answered in depth. My dog is reactive to other dogs and they always do their best to make space for us and never make me feel bad if he is difficult with other dogs. Thank you!
Twice now we have taken our dog there for a simple thing and they charged us for consultations we haven't asked for. Second time recently, we have been there to get vaccination for our dog and we saw the charges included a 70 EUR additional charge for consultation on abdoment and teeth check. Even though we let them know that we had another vet cleaned her teeth 2 months ago and it is not needed. Charges on the invoice included even fee for gloves used!! Unbelievable. In addition to that, they refused to give us the invoice on the spot and insisted that they send it online so we had a surprise later on. I do not recommend this practise.
