I am truly disappointed with this emergency veterinary service. My cat was spayed at another clinic on Monday. Around 4:00 a.m. on Friday morning, I called this clinic because she suddenly had very unusual breathing, which worried me greatly. However, I was told on the phone that it was all normal – probably just lingering effects from the anesthesia, she was young, and I shouldn't worry. I also mentioned that she wasn't eating but was drinking, which I also found very unusual. Despite this, my concerns were downplayed on the phone. I understand that diagnosing over the phone is difficult, and I don't want to accuse anyone of anything. Nevertheless, in such a situation, I would have expected a more cautious approach and, if in doubt, a more thorough examination. Unfortunately, it later turned out that my cat suffered during this time. Thankfully, I persisted and contacted another clinic at midday: AniCura Animal Clinic Egelsbach. We were told to go there immediately, and my cat received prompt, competent, and compassionate care. I can wholeheartedly recommend this clinic – they acted quickly, and I felt I was taken seriously. However, I would have appreciated more thoroughness and a greater focus on the symptoms I described from the emergency service.
