We are incredibly grateful to have found Ms. von Ahnen! After a disappointing experience at another veterinary practice where we felt we received poor advice, she completely won us over with her competence, diligence, and empathy. Our young dog was exhibiting unusual behavior, constantly nibbling at his thigh and rear end. While our suggestion had previously been dismissed, Ms. von Ahnen took the time for a thorough examination and addressed our concerns in detail. The result was clear: our dog did indeed have worms and was also suffering from giardia. She not only made the correct diagnosis but also initiated targeted and effective treatment that quickly helped our dog. We particularly appreciated that she didn't try to push anything on us but honestly and transparently recommended only what was truly necessary. After careful consideration, she deemed an operation, which had been suggested at the other practice, completely unnecessary. Instead, she explained to us competently and clearly how we could best support our dog. Dr. von Ahnen is a veterinarian who takes both the animals and their owners seriously. She has earned our trust, and we will gladly continue to entrust our dog to her care in the future. Thank you so much for the excellent care! Highly recommended.
