A nice, competent veterinarian? Not a chance! Far from being caring. Quite the opposite! Zero empathy or compassion for my pet. She repeatedly poked at my cat's bad tooth with a stick until it started bleeding! Then she wanted to try to pull it, but at the same time mentioned her poor motor skills and told me I could go somewhere else. Which I did. I felt incredibly sorry for my cat. Bleeding, I drove to the next vet. No wonder there were no other animals in the practice. She clearly didn't want to work, and she made that abundantly clear! We were a nuisance! If she no longer feels capable of working, she should retire! It was an absolute disgrace! The worst possible thing to do!
I'm surprised by the overwhelmingly positive experiences. Ours was unfortunately different. The vet seemed incompetent. This was confirmed after we got a second opinion. She refused to euthanize our 18-year-old cat. The cat was clearly having difficulty breathing and was staggering around... She claimed this was normal for her age. Why let animals suffer unnecessarily when there are other options? The fact that there was already fluid in her lungs wasn't discovered until the second vet simply listened to her chest. Sadly, this isn't our first negative experience. Our dog received very little help during the birth. She was already lethargic when the vet roughly inserted her hand into the birth canal. One puppy was stuck and already dead. A C-section was then performed by the next vet. It seems they don't care much about stray animals either. It's better to keep them than to try and find their owners. Thanks for nothing...
Hello, I just called (Sunday, July 5, 2020) to get medical advice (I have a dog). The doctor's statement: "My issue is not an emergency," he simply hung up. Very rude and completely incompetent. I do NOT recommend him. Apparently he doesn't want to work on Sundays. What a pity for animals - a veterinarian should address every concern a pet owner has to help the animal. Completely wrong profession. Should look for another profession. NOT RECOMMENDED.
Dr. Wünsch has a wonderful rapport with both animals and people. Her treatments are always focused on what is absolutely necessary. I've been taking my cat to her for 18 years and always leave feeling reassured.
A very competent and friendly veterinarian. Period! Some of the comments you find online are downright damaging. We were convinced of this ourselves today. Thumbs up, we'll definitely go back. What some interpret as moodiness or negativity is perhaps her direct manner when it comes to things that a veterinarian simply knows best. And since she does have a strong voice, it can be perceived negatively if you can't handle it.
