The new veterinary fee schedule (GOT) is the culprit in this drama triangle! Not the vets, who work hard and, in my opinion, should be paid fairly! The additional visit fees on top of the already incurred travel costs, and then hefty markups on medications... Before, if I went to a vet at all, they weren't very competent or experienced. My horse suffered for years from an undiagnosed recurrent uveitis. I still have my gelding thanks to Ms. Scheffel 👍🏻

A super nice and kind woman who has her heart in the right place! There should be more people like her! She gave me quick first aid for my horse's distress when my pony had a mild bout of laminitis! Thank you so much! To anyone who doesn't like the tone: riding isn't for helicopter crybabies and spaghetti-eating kids; only the tough ones get into the garden!

The most expensive vet I've ever encountered in my long career as a pet owner! Unfortunately, she's just as unpleasant as the bills she sends. When I asked why she charged three times for the call-out and why the triple rate was necessary, all I got was... "Next time, we might as well just let the horse die!" Never again!!!!! STAY AWAY!

The best veterinarian ever for our horses! Our mare Dolly K showed hardly any abnormalities before she almost collapsed. As a sport horse, she could have easily died of colic at that point... Without the quick, competent, and highly professional treatment from Ms. Scheffel and her team, we wouldn't have been able to diagnose Dolly K's 15 (!) stomach ulcers and receive such stress-free and successful treatment through the rehabilitation program at her stud farm. We owe Dolly's life to her!!!

A truly wonderful company! I have a great time every time we're there! Everyone is warm and friendly. I'm looking forward to the next time!
