Reviews
Many thanks to the entire team for the objective and very thorough advice we received, as well as the loving and considerate care of our cats. Your "do not give up" and your questioning during the diagnostic process have saved our tomcat and even our little cat from a worse situation. Keep up the good work! We have complete trust in you! Thank you!
Today I had an emergency cat on site. The vet, Bianca Lücke, was fantastic. Precise and straightforward.
We've been patients at this veterinary practice for a few years now. We're thrilled and very satisfied with the vets' expertise. Everything is explained calmly, clearly, and objectively, and our pet's well-being is always a priority. For urgent appointments, there can be a wait, but we accept it. The nurses are very friendly and helpful. We have absolutely no complaints; they always provide assistance, explain everything thoroughly during appointments, and examine our pets carefully. The prices are perfectly reasonable!
The practice was a quick help when my cat fell ill, thanks to their extended opening hours and short-notice appointments. However, the diagnosis was incorrect, and I was advised relatively quickly to have him euthanized, as only palliative care was possible. It wasn't until 2.5 months later that I was referred to a veterinary hospital, even though I had stated from the beginning that I would do and pay for everything as long as my cat was well. At the hospital, they told me what the diagnosis should have been, that he only needed antibiotics, and offered a referral, and of course, a different food than the expensive one they had sold me. That was the first time I was very upset. After that, severe tartar buildup and gingivitis went unnoticed. These were discovered during a heart ultrasound at another veterinary hospital four days later and explained certain symptoms. Two teeth were extracted at Dr. Wiegand's practice, but they didn't prescribe antibiotics again. My cat had stopped eating due to the inflammation, and apparently, they were finding me too bothersome. I promptly switched practices. Better treatment, better value for money. My cat is now completely healthy for his age and has gone from 3 kg (his weight when he was sick) back to an ideal 5 kg. The only positive aspect of the Wiegand veterinary practice was Dr. Mirazee. He was a very empathetic and attentive veterinarian. He went to great lengths to treat my cat as well as possible.
