I've been going here for over 2 years with my dog and cat. Very friendly staff, excellent and loving doctor. Even though my little dog is scared of going to the vet he knows how to make her feel as comfortable as possible. I can only highly recommend to give him a visit and see for yourself

This is a great pet clinic with a wonderful team both English and German speakers, I have 4 cats and I have the process of shipping em to Australia which is very complicated but I have no worries as this vet is quiet professional, Therefor its definitely recommended.

We were always very satisfied, whether with Dr. Marnitz himself or one of his colleagues. They were always very empathetic, and the ladies at reception were and still are always very kind to both people and animals!

Very unfriendly vet. I was there today for my dog's bandage change. The vet was very unfriendly to me. My dog had a wound with a scab, and he put adhesive tape over it, which caused the entire wound to reopen. Because of this, we had to go to another vet who had to redo it. Since we have to change the bandage every day, and I'm a truck driver for work, I'm forced to visit a vet once a week to have the bandage changed. At all the other vets, I paid between €30 and €35. At this vet, I paid €96 for the bandage change. I won't be going there again. Response to the vet's response: The bandage wasn't only changed once a week, as I explained on-site. Because of my job, I have to go to a different vet once a week for a bandage change, and I can go back to my usual vet on Thursdays. So, the bandage is changed every three days. They also received X-rays from me. Since I received printed copies of the images from my vet so that every doctor could see where the fracture was, they weren't satisfied and told me it was completely unacceptable and totally unprofessional. She was the only vet who was bothered by it. After they covered the wound with tape, the entire scab tore off within a few minutes. As a result, 20 minutes after her treatment, we went to the vet in Halstenbek (a very nice vet, by the way). She tried her best to leave her awful bandage on without further injuring the dog. A few days later, the wound was full of pus and infected. This wouldn't have happened if she hadn't stuck the tape on the new scab. I've never seen such unprofessional and unfriendly work. I reported this clinic to my insurance company and the vet to the state veterinary association.

I first visited this practice in the fall of 2025 with my 15-year-old cat, Maleo. At that time, I didn't meet any of the veterinarians, but "only" the veterinary assistants and the cardiologist. They made a very pleasant and professional impression on me, as they not only took plenty of time for the "not very cooperative patient" but also kept me informed throughout the process. A few months later, we had a follow-up appointment for a check-up – this time my cat and I met Mr. Márton, who would be taking over the practice in the spring of 2026. What can I say – we really lucked out with this veterinarian – empathetic, a good listener, thorough explanations, and even while examining the animal, he always maintains a conversation with the owner. This week, we were there again because of a ruptured anal gland, after one of the very kind veterinary assistants squeezed us in. Mr. Márton treated Maleo with such calmness that, even though my cat is usually much calmer and I was quite tense myself, he endured it almost silently. Since I'm currently unable to drive due to surgery and rely on my working partner, the veterinarian took this into consideration when scheduling the follow-up appointment and offered us an afternoon slot. So, in conclusion: A wonderful practice, incredibly kind staff, and a fantastic veterinarian – they won't get rid of us now! :) THANK YOU!
