Reviews
Absolutely super happy with the service, we used to go to another vet always in the neighborhood, and we were happy there, but after our Frenchie got a ear hematoma under recommendation of the other vet we tried to wait to see if it could absorb itself but it actually kept becoming bigger so we had to go to this vet as our vet was closed for holidays and we vere treated super nicely even though we didn't have an appointment, they understood our concern and recommended us to do a little surgery procedure to stop the hematoma as quick as possible, we decided to go for the surgery and we are super happy in how our Charlie was treated, they took all the right precautions considering that Charlie is a Frenchie so surgery can be a bit risky. We definitely will keep coming here in the future; oh, and they don't mind at all speaking to you in English if you don't speak German! Thank you, Charlie, Sasha and Stephan
I have been registered at the practice for 7 months with my two dogs and can only say great things about this Praxis. The Praxis is small, with an amazing, dedicated gentle, and compassionate team. You can really feel how much they love the animals they are looking after, and the animal is at the centre of the treatment. They have a responsive reception and can communicate very well in English. With Sabine and team, your animal family members will be in great and caring hands!
She's been my regular vet for the last year or so. She's so nice and patient with my younger dog and always does a thorough exam every time we're there. My dog has huge anxiety issues with the vet and with handling but she's helping us work through it. I'm honestly ridiculous sometimes but she's always super nice and I appreciate her considering things like my gut feeling that something is wrong even though I am not able to give her a detailed reasoning on why I think something is wrong. She also made a very good call on referring my older dog to an oncologist directly. The quick referral (combined with the work of other several vets) probably gave him a couple extra months when dealing with a very aggressive cancer.
I’ve been twice there. The first time was more a general check up, my dog is 10 years and for me was strange that they had a look very quickly but fine. The second time was a emergency, my dog had the ear swollen, visible something unusual. They refused to check it arguing that there were fully booked. So after this I have been in another vet. She has ear hematoma, witch needs a surgery, the diagnosis was super fast and she needed a injection to wait for the surgery. I understand that they are fully booked, but I believe that 10min it’s not compromising them, without that injection, a 10 years old dog could face a real problem.
0 Stars I live nearby and stopped by to ask a quick question. I didn't even get to ask - the receptionist cut me off immediately, rude and uninterested. She couldn't even know whether I was a client or not since she never bothered to ask. I understand that they may be busy, but taking a moment to listen would make a big difference. Based on that interaction, I can understand why others shared negative reviews. I can't imagine how this approach would work in an emergency. Courtesy matters.
