We took our 18-year-old cat to this veterinary practice because he regularly receives his arthritis injections at home. When his condition suddenly worsened, and he became labored and very restless, we described the situation over the phone, hoping for some help in this emergency. However, we were immediately informed that a home visit was not possible. Since we don't own a cat carrier, we were offered the option of borrowing one from the practice. Instead of a suitable carrier, however, we received a perforated metal cage into which the cat would have had to be placed from above. In our opinion, this cage was completely unsuitable and stressful for an old, seriously ill animal with arthritis. We also found it particularly disconcerting that, upon returning the empty cage, we were asked if "everything went well," even though it was obvious the animal was no longer with us. In such an emotionally charged situation, we would have appreciated more compassion, attention, and a better understanding of our circumstances. Thank you for your response. However, some of your statements are inaccurate, and we cannot let them stand. The medication that was previously picked up was solely related to our cat's digestion and had nothing to do with the subsequent emergency. His condition was never described as "already critical." Had this been the case, the owner would certainly not have left. We therefore consider this account to be simply false. Furthermore, we were explicitly informed during the phone call that it was not possible to come to our home. Instead of a house call, the owner was asked to send photos and videos of the cat's condition. These were sent and reviewed. To date, however, we have received no feedback whatsoever. The necessity of transporting the cat to the practice for procedures such as X-rays or further diagnostic testing was never mentioned. This claim only arises afterward in your public response. Precisely because of our 18-year-old cat's advanced age and his arthritis, we deliberately chose a practice that offers house calls. The arthritis injections were reliably administered monthly at our home, and the payment was collected in person just as regularly. It was all the more disappointing, therefore, to feel that we weren't being helped during a genuine emergency. This isn't about attacking anyone personally. But in such an emotionally charged situation, we would have appreciated more compassion, more sensitivity, and above all, an honest account of the facts. Instead, your response paints a picture that, in our view, doesn't reflect reality.

Fantastic vet, fantastic team, who have helped us with our dog so many times. It started with an undescended testicle, which other vets said could wait, but thankfully he had a different opinion – otherwise, it could have ended very badly. Since then, I wouldn't go to any other vet. Mr. Sliwon has always had the right approach for us, and we've always received prompt help. If I could, I would give more than 5 stars. Thank you for your daily dedication, your consistently quick help, and your understanding 🤞🏼

We are incredibly grateful to have found the team at Sliwon Veterinary Practice for our furry friends. From the very first moment, we felt our dog and cats were in excellent hands. We always receive honest advice, feel taken seriously, and never have the impression that unnecessary treatments or costs will be incurred. Instead, trust, transparency, and the well-being of our animals are paramount. Thank you so much for your tireless dedication, your patience, and your loving care. Our pets are in the best hands with you – and we can't thank you enough. We wholeheartedly recommend them!
