I think this vet is fantastic. He took my cat in as an emergency case on a Friday and kept her there until Monday evening. She had pneumonia and already suffers from a chronic lung condition. We received helpful advice and had everything explained to us very clearly. We'll also be switching to Dr. Pawelke. So, all I can say is, he's a superb vet.

Dr. Pawelke has been our furry friends' doctor for many years. During this time, we've come to know and appreciate his empathetic and competent approach. The assistants are also very friendly and helpful. All in all, a fantastic veterinary practice. We highly recommend Dr. Pawelke and his team to all four-legged friends!

The best vet ever! I can't understand the negative reviews at all. I've been taking all my animals to him for over 20 years. Always extremely satisfied and in the best possible hands. He takes his time, is incredibly kind, and his prices aren't exorbitant.

A truly excellent veterinarian. We've been taking our three dogs and two cats to him for a long time. He's always available and very gentle with our animals. His diagnoses have always been spot on, allowing him to help our pets quickly. Highly recommended.

I can't understand the positive reviews, even with the best will in the world. We had to take our cat to the emergency vet today because she was in very bad shape. When we entered the practice, he didn't do anything at first, even though our cat was breathing heavily and panting. Then he went on and on for minutes about how "some people just can't let go" and got upset about other patients. He didn't address our questions or concerns. Frustrated, I had to leave the practice and call another emergency practice (Partners, in Wehr), which really helped me in detail and competently and said there was no reason to put my cat down. So please: Take the emergency vet out of the way. Because if you're already helpless and desperate and then end up with a vet like that...
