Fantastic. It couldn't be better. Everyone is incredibly kind, friendly, and helpful. Every animal feels at home here, including our cat Willi.

Just one example, I have many. My German Shepherd was having seizures. The vet wanted to put her down immediately. I went to another vet in Winsen, the best in the world for us. She was put on medication and has been in excellent health ever since. Another 10 years.

- Ready in the vet's waiting room- I took my dog to this practice today after he ate a raisin roll. Raisins can demonstrably lead to acute kidney failure; this was even confirmed to me over the phone. It started on the phone: no price, no price range, no transparency whatsoever, even though I explicitly stated that I didn't have my insurance card with me and needed at least a rough estimate. The response: "Unfortunately, we can't say anything about that." Right. Once there, they suggested giving him emetic eye drops. I'd never heard of them. Since my dog was already familiar with the classic anti-nausea injection and had tolerated it well, I asked for them. First, they had to "check" whether they even had the medication in stock (which they also hadn't mentioned on the phone). No complete examination. They didn't ask about pre-existing conditions or medications, even though I mentioned that my dog is on them. A quick listen to his heart, a half-glance in his mouth – and they didn't even notice that my dog was bleeding from the mouth. Despite this, they later charged me for a "general examination." €50 – for what?! And was this explained to me? No! When my dog still hadn't vomited after 20+ minutes, and I calmly asked if perhaps the wrong medication or dosage had been used and if they could check (mistakes happen!), the vet stormed into the waiting room in a rage and berated me in front of everyone. I was accused of questioning her competence, and told I could leave and find another vet. My dog – after receiving an injection to induce vomiting – sat in the waiting room, highly stressed, while other dogs constantly walked by and the vet yelled at me. I've truly never experienced anything like it. Instead of working towards a solution, they argued. Valuable time wasted. Then my dog was given the aforementioned eye drops – and finally, he vomited. Was everything out? Uncertain. The vet's parting words were something like: "These are symptoms of kidney failure. Just get a blood test done in a week." And then: out. At reception, the next wonderful experience: a bill for almost €200, without me being given one on the spot. It only arrived later by email. Services were billed that weren't actually provided. When I asked to speak to the practice manager: "She won't be back until the 6th. Call then. We can't offer you an appointment right now; you can arrange one by phone." So, complaining here is actively made difficult. On the positive side: The veterinary assistants were consistently friendly and helpful. On the negative side: Disappointing in terms of expertise, intrusive in their communication, opaque pricing, and, in my opinion, unprofessional. I'm not writing this review for fun, but to spare other pet owners a similar experience. In an emergency, you wish for the opposite experience! And I would have much preferred to clarify things with the practice myself first, but if it's impossible to schedule an appointment, then perhaps one doesn't even want to clarify such experiences. (It should be noted here that it wasn't Ms. Flick, but her assistant.)
