Reviews
Been here twice. The first was with our cat, for some minor treatment and checkup. Yesterday I brought my dog puppy for an emergency treatment after being stung by the wasp. The dog was in the examination room under vet's control 15 minutes after we called, 2 minutes after we stepped in the building. Another 15-20 minutes later and we were out, with a dog already medicated and with some advices what to monitor and what to do in cases of something. All vets I met speak good English, as well as most of the staff, nurses, reception. Everybody was very kind and professional. If you go by car, don't forget to present your parking disc (die Parkscheibe) on the windscreen :(
Not again, sorry. We brought our dog in due to an emergency (he suffers from pancreatitis and he is diabetic). We waited for two hours, if not more, until someone saw us and then told us to wait again. The next person that saw the dog after another long waiting period had, literally, no knowledge of anything, could barely explain what they wanted to do, what course they would follow. At the end of the day, literally at midnight, we were told that the dog could stay for treatment but we would have to prepay the amount of 1800 on the spot!! Finally, as we took the dog home to deal with the situation ourselves and try to keep him alive overnight, we paid 600 for simple blood tests. We love our dogs and we really care for them, but this is more of a money making place than a proper clinic for treating animals.
Super service, a big thanks to everyone at Vet Zentrum! I brought my 16-year-old cat to Vet Zentrum in a panic, as she became very ill all of a sudden. I received excellent care and attention during the first telephone call and throughout the visit to the clinic itself. The staff follow a very strict covid policy, so I felt that both my cat and myself were safe. But this can also cause longer waiting periods, so be prepared for that. It happens for a good reason. The vet took great care of my cat and made sure I fully understood what was wrong, and how to care for her at home. I feel confident that her illness was correctly diagnosed and no expensive or unnecessary tests were carried out. The staff also showed great patience when dealing with my poor German language abilities, which I also really appreciated. They made a stressful occasion a lot less so.
Yes the long waiting times , ye the high rates, are a,point worth mentioning , HOWEVER bear in mind that we are talking emergency clinic here hence not your every day vet. Sure I was a bit annoyed at waiting so long BUT on a previous occasion they did save my dog from certain death and honestly I would go broke before letting my dog down. Another thing ,the staff are very nice ,like today Louise got into a scuffle with one of her mates and ended up with a gash on her nose. The vet assistant had a look, advised me and did not charge me for it. Nobody likes being at hospitals and such and sometimes we let emotions win over reason , these people did ,in my humble opinion , do their job very well and I owe them my best friend's life. Sure the prices are high but what is cheap these days and my dog is worth more than the entire world . So dear klinik staff: a million thanks
Great. They accommodated communication in English. Checked my cat really quickly at an ungodly hour and made an appointment for me the next day first thing in the morning. This is the 3rd time we come here and have been very happy so far with the service.
