I like it
I am completely satisfied with the care I received at this veterinary practice: My cat Pauli, who showed no improvement despite previous veterinary treatment, including an ear flush due to scratching at his ear, and ultimately developed a severe outer and inner ear infection followed by Horner's syndrome, was immediately welcomed by Dr. Prietl at the Eggenberg veterinary practice – she was incredibly kind, caring, and empathetic. Thanks to the necessary diagnostic procedures, such as a CT scan and bacterial swab, the correct treatment with the right antibiotic and cortisone could be started quickly. Although Horner's syndrome takes time to heal, we are confident that Pauli will not suffer any permanent nerve damage thanks to the treatment, because Dr. Prietl and her assistant are fantastic! 🙏🏻
I've been a patient of Dr. Greilberger's practice for many years. My cat was very ill, suffering from diarrhea, vomiting, and refusing food. For the first time, a very competent veterinarian, Dr. Alexandra Juracic, was present. For the first time, I was asked in detail how I feed my cat. Basically, I'm on the right track: raw meat, wet food with a high meat content, and dry food. Her knowledge of the subject fascinated me. Unfortunately, my cat was in poor condition and had to stay at the clinic. Dr. Juracic explained the treatment to me very clearly and logically. No "maybes" or "possibly" tests. She also gave me good tips on which fiber supplements I could add. I felt my cat was in very good hands with her. This woman is fantastic! A heartfelt thank you!
Unfortunately, I get the impression that this clinic prioritizes profit over the animals' well-being. My cat has been treated there for some time now, and the costs have already exceeded €1,100, without any improvement in his condition. I find it particularly disappointing that, despite repeated requests, I haven't been able to get a prescription for cortisone – on the grounds that it would "harm" my pet. At the same time, my cat receives this very same cortisone injection at the clinic itself as soon as I bring him there – naturally, with an additional examination and injection fee. To me, it seems as though the focus is more on billing for recurring treatments than on providing pet owners with a simple, effective, and cost-efficient solution.
