Disappointing Experience with Cat Neutering We had our cat neutered at this practice. The procedure was described as routine, yet shortly afterward, significant complications arose, including severe swelling, pain, and bleeding. In our opinion, our concerns were not adequately addressed. We didn't feel we had been fully informed about potential risks or the next steps. The follow-up appointments also seemed infrequent, even though our cat's condition was visibly deteriorating. We were particularly disappointed that we were charged around €500 for a necessary follow-up surgery. It seemed to us that this was related to the complications that had already occurred. We would have appreciated at least a clarifying discussion, more transparency, or some form of accommodation. Unfortunately, complications can occur – but how they are handled is crucial. In our case, we felt a lack of empathy, clear communication, and a sense of responsibility. Based on our personal experience, we unfortunately cannot recommend this practice for surgical procedures.
